The state continues to stock amazing size trout in several bodies ​of water around the state freshwater fishing is kicking off to a ​great start.

Schoolie bass is coming in full force on the oceanfront, small ​plastics seem to be the favored bait. many reports of fish being ​landed in the providence area as the weather warms up and ​more bait moves in the bite can only get better.

squid is also coming in strong with the past moon tides many ​reports of successful trips and quality squid great time of year ​to load up either for bait or consumption.

tautog fishing is red hot as many fishermen report success along ​the rocky shoreline in the bay and the oceanfront.
